The few Zelaya supporters act with violence towards the majority of the Honduran population. More then 80% of the population want free elections in november and are against Zelayas Chaves Socialist system. We don't want the dictator zelaya back, Honduras has only one President and that is the Constitutional President Roberto Micheletti.

Honduran Foods and Cuisine: Honduran Baleadas Baleadas are a very popular Honduran food. They are almost universally available throughout Honduras, although slightly more popular on the North Coast. A baleada is a tortilla made of wheat flour, that is filled with a typical style of refried beans. They also have either mantequilla, a white heavy cream, or grated Honduran white cheese. You can stop right there, and have a perfect baleada, or you can add a shot of hot sauce, avocado, eggs, ham, or a variety of other "special" baleada ingredients. Baleadas are Honduran "Fast food", and are available in many places, including bakeries, snack shops, bus stations, markets, and street corner stands. Some finer restaurants, bakeries and baleada chains also offer baleadas, if you don't want to take your chances on the streets. If you want to try to recreate your own baleadas at home, and you don't have a Honduran cook, this is the recipe for Baleadas: 2 cups of white wheat flour 1 cup of warm water or milk 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 cup of vegetable oil Mix all ingredients in a bowl, and kneed until the dough forms a ball and isn't sticky. Separate the dough, and make it into golf ball sized balls. Put these in a pan, covered by a towel, and let them sit for 30 minutes at room temperature. Heat a non-stick pan, gridle, or comal, the special tortilla pan. Pull off one ball, and start spreading it on a table or hard surface. Make it "tortilla shaped" without holes or thick places ...

Iran-Contra traitor and Iraq war engineer, John Negroponte. Before he was the American ambassador to the UN from 2001 to 2004 and top official in Iraq for much of the past year, he served as ambassador to Honduras from 1981 to 1985. It was there that Negroponte -- if a wealth of well-corroborated and documented evidence is to be believed -- covered up a pattern of gross human rights abuses by the country's CIA-trained forces. Under Negroponte's direction, military aid to Honduras rose dramatically, from less than $4 million to $77.4 million. To keep the aid flowing, the American embassy in Tegucigalpa needed to reassure Congress annually that Honduras was not a gross human rights violator. This he did. Negroponte's 1983 report to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, for instance, argued that the "Honduran government neither condones nor knowingly permits killings of a political or nonpolitical nature" and that there were "no political prisoners in Honduras." The snow job worked, and under Negroponte's watch "US military aid [for Honduras] jumped from $3.9 million in 1980 to $77.4 million by 1984. But in truth, as Sarah Wildman reported in The New Republic, the Honduran army, especially the US-trained Battalion 316, engaged in widespread human rights abuses, including kidnapping, torture and assassination.
