Global Brigades hosted a 2010 video contest inviting all GB clubs to send in videos of the most creative ways that they recruit volunteers or fundraise on their campus/community for their upcoming brigades. The winning video was sent in from an Architecture Brigades chapter at the University of Illinois at Chaimpaign-Urbana. The brigaders of this chapter caught the attention from fellow university students using a toilet and some signs. Watch the video to see how that were able to draw awareness!

Sorry I don't have time to recount all my adventures.Basically I spent about 9 days travelling Honduras. Spent two days in Puerto Cortes, then took a bus to Copan where I spent about three days enjoying the ruins and beautiful town. From there I headed to San Pedro Sula where I spent the day at the archeology museum and then back to Cortes. In Cortes I spent another 2 nights immersed in Garifuna culture and enjoying the festivities of the "ferria" which included lots music, and dancing. Then I headed to La Ceiba for one night where I met a friend I had worked with on the island and partied with him at the ferria in La Ceiba. I returned back to Utila for one more week which I worked very little on a project I was supposed to finish and had the opportunity to see sea turtles hatching. Left Honduras on Sunday and am now safely back in NY. Thanks to all of you who followed and commented on my blog. Hope to see and talk to everyone soon."
