Since 2008, the photographer André François (founding president of ImageMagica NGO) has been carrying out the Life Project, a worldwide work which discuss the importance of health promotion and quality of life for different cultures. François already traveled to the most distinguished places in the world such as Cambodia, one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia; the indigenous community of Yanomami, North of Brazil; the Nunavut territory in Canada's far North, where the Inuit community lives; Haiti, after the earthquake that devastated the country in 2010; the neighborhood of Queens in New York with a large concentration of people from all over the world and Japan, after the earthquake and tsunami that destroyed the Sendai region, in 2011. In Haiti (February, 2010), André had been in the cities of Port-au-prince e Les Cayes and followed the work of the health teams which had been at the region, such as: Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross, Brazilian Air Force and the Brazilian Health Expeditions. In terms of having support and access to different realities, the Life Project relies on the cooperation of the United Nations (UN), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross and the Brazilian Health Expeditions among other organizations.

Over 200 people mostly haitians including children and elderly left stranded for 11 hours by American Airlines in Toussaint Louverture Airport in Port-Au-Prince Haiti without food, water, anf blankets. Finally this 63 year old Haitian man had enough and went on a 20 minutes rant.
