At the annual celebration of the Haitian Flag Day in Chicago (Malcom X College), a group of talented and powerful Haitian poets and artists talked to the public in a way nobody ever did in the Windy City, motivated them, and everyone was in complete awe after this breath-taking and meaningful presentation. This video is just a short piece of their rather informal show. They are very good and now they are working on a major project entitled: Banbòch Kiltirèl pou Yon Lòt Ayiti. The piece: Yewe Ya YanYan, written by Vye (Ewol Sen-Lwi), is a 45 mn long blend of poetry, spoken word, and afro-Haitian moves accompanied with the mystical rhythms of the sacred African drums.
