Imam Mohamad Jebara in one of the 7 TV interviews in Guyana, South America. The Imam lectured to over 6000 people in person, over a 5 day tour and reached hundreds of thousands through television broadcast. On Thursday, the 23rd of February, 2012, for the first time in the history of Guyana, the Imam offered an intensive training on social responsibility, theology, jurisprudence and other topics to all Imams in Guyana, over 240 of them were present, serving over 100 thousand people, who now look up to Imam Mohamad Jebara as one of their most respected and influential religious figures in their history. Cordova Academy has received hundreds of e-mails from Guyana from people thanking the Imam for coming down. The music in the background is from the festivities on the streets, outside the studio.

My nieces and nephew in Guyana singing two popular hindi songs. Meten meer zorg, 2002. A reportedly 43.5% of the Guyanese population are descendants of labourers were brought over from India in the 1830s-1840s. By the second generation, much of the hindi language was lost as children were taught in British schools, but much of the culture, including customs, religion, food, way of dress, tools and music passed down through the generations. Most Indian Guyanese people have a huge love for Indian movies and music. It shows in this video.
