| | Papua New Guinea: Land of the Unexpected Duration : 313 Seconds Get more great videos: www.youtube.com Be our Myspace friend: myspace.com Few areas of the globe can match Papua New Guinea in terms of biodiversity. The country's rugged natural settings are home to a staggering array of wildlife, including more than 21000 species of higher plants, 200 species of mammals, and 700 species of birds. Papua New Guinea's indigenous clans are linguistically just as diverse; more than 800 languages are spoken within the nation's borders. These numerous clans also hold the key to conserving both their cultural and natural wealth of their country, specifically because they control approximately 90 percent of the nation's territory through a system of traditional land tenure. Because almost all of the land in Papua New Guinea is owned by its people, and not by the government, conservation efforts need to be approved and enforced by the local landowners. Crater Mountain is one of these landowner and NGO cooperative conservation initiatives in PNG. | | PROJECT PEGASUS: Disclosing time-travel-stargate technology in US military. (part 3/5) Duration : 599 Seconds According to some whistleblowers as Al Bielek, Preston Nichols and Andrew D. Basiago, the US military has developed secret projects on time-travel and stargate technologies, for decades and under a very heavy cover up agenda. These claims could be just another conspiracy theories, if these men were not former military black ops. Engineers, expertises in electronics, physics... High IQ men that allege have worked in several projects carried by Navy, whose origins go back 40 years when 3 of the most brilliant minds of mankind were drafted to develop technologies towards the electronic camouflage of vessels, on nazi radars: Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla and John Von Neumann, the heads of the "Philadelphia Experiment" aka "Manhattan Project" aka "Rainbow Project" and its extensions, the "Project Montauk" and "Pegasus Project". According to these whistleblowers the military got succeed, but not without thousands of human losses, guinea pigs in sinister tests carried across 50 years. These denounces surely would pass by sci-fi delusions, due the lack of physical evidence, if recently a singular person hadn't confirmed the claims of these men: Laura Magdalene Eisenhower, great-granddaughter of Dwight Eisenhower, the american president that supposedly had several meetings with extraterrestrial beings in 1954. I gathered some neat material in this five-parts video, that may help you to figure out the whole thing and its implications to mankind. To further investigation: www ... | | Lost world of fanged frogs and giant rats discovered in Papua New Guinea Duration : 299 Seconds A team of scientists from Britain, the United States and Papua New Guinea found more than 40 previously unidentified species when they climbed into the kilometre-deep crater of Mount Bosavi and explored a pristine jungle habitat teeming with life that has evolved in isolation since the volcano last erupted 200000 years ago. In a remarkably rich haul from just five weeks of exploration, the biologists discovered 16 frogs which have never before been recorded by science, at least three new fish, a new bat and a giant rat, which may turn out to be the biggest in the world. The discoveries are being seen as fresh evidence of the richness of the world's rainforests and the explorers hope their finds will add weight to calls for international action to prevent the demise of similar ecosystems. They said Papua New Guinea's rainforest is currently being destroyed at the rate of 3.5% a year. "It was mind-blowing to be there and it is clearly time we pulled our finger out and decided these habitats are worth us saving," said Dr George McGavin who headed the expedition. The team of biologists included experts from Oxford University, the London Zoo and the Smithsonian Institution and are believed to be the first scientists to enter the mountainous Bosavi crater. They were joined by members of the BBC Natural History Unit which filmed the expedition for a three-part documentary which starts tomorrow night. They found the three-kilometre wide crater populated by spectacular birds of ... | | Indonesia Travel Doc Part 01 Duration : 321 Seconds The Republic of Indonesia, is a country in Southeast Asia. Comprising 17508 islands, it is the world's largest archipelagic state. With a population of 222 million people in 2006, it is the world's fourth most populous country and the most populous Muslim-majority nation; however, no reference is made to Islam in the Indonesian constitution. Indonesia is a republic, with an elected legislature and president. The nation's capital city is Jakarta. The country shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Malaysia. Other neighboring countries include Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, and the Indian territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Indonesian archipelago has been an important trade region since at least the seventh century, when the Srivijaya Kingdom traded with China and India. Local rulers gradually adopted Indian cultural, religious and political models from the early centuries CE, and Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms flourished. Indonesian history has been influenced by foreign powers drawn to its natural resources. Muslim traders brought Islam, and European powers fought one another to monopolize trade in the Spice Islands of Maluku during the Age of Discovery. Following three and a half centuries of Dutch colonialism, Indonesia secured its independence after World War II. Indonesia's history has since been turbulent, with challenges posed by natural disasters, corruption, separatism, a democratization process, and periods of rapid economic ...
