D&B launches Credit Bureau in Ghana
Duration : 178 Seconds

D&B held a conference at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra on June 7. The conference was attended by the Central Bank of Ghana and management representatives from banks and micro-finance institutions. All the attendees discussed the evolution and benefits of credit bureaus to the banking sector, in terms of quick and informed lending decisions, reduced non-performing loans and risk-based pricing of loans. The development of a credit bureau impacts the overall economy of the country as it encourages responsible borrowing and lending. In addition, it allows individuals and companies to easily access finance based on their past payment behaviour and provide opportunities for growth. At this conference, we announced the launch of a D&B Credit Bureau in Ghana. D&B will be the second bureau in Ghana licensed by the Central Bank and the response received for the D&B Bureau was brilliant.

Ghana Automated Clearing House - 2
Duration : 829 Seconds

The Ghana Automated Clearing House (GACH) is an electronic payment network that maybe used by individuals, businesses, financial institutions and government organizations to transfer funds to creditors through their banks (direct credits) or to collect funds from debtors through their banks (direct debits). GACH payments are fast and secure; they enhance cash management and have lower costs compared to traditional paper payments. Automated direct credit and direct debit payments have been non- existent in the Ghanaian banking system partly due to the tradition of cheque usage and the low level of automation. A manual paper credit transfer system was introduced in 2004 as a forerunner to an automated system. This system operated alongside the semi-automated cheque clearing system until September, 2009 when both systems were closed following the introduction of the Cheque Codeline Clearing system.

CASINO BANKING IN LONDON MUST STOP - ALIEN FROM GHANA LOOTED YOUR $2 BILLION ASSETS ? Courtesy: BBC CASINO BANKING LOSING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY - TRADER FROM GHANA [KWEKU ADOBOLI] LOOTED 2 BILLION [$2000000000] IN LONDON THIS WEEK He was overseen by Ms MISKOVIC who worked for LEHMAN Brothers that IMPLODED in 2008 and was working in the LONDON Stock Exchange when BARINGS BANK collapsed under Nick LEESON's £827 Million [$1.5 BILLION] LOSS in 1995. KWEKU ADOBOLI has lost the BANK a suspected $2 BILLION+. He has NO TIES with BRITAIN - NO TIES with SWITZERLAND. ADOBOLI must think that British Justice is an absolute JOKE in comparison to the severity of criminal law in GHANA! On leaving court, he smiled extremely broadly - as if the whole LOOTING of your assets (?) was one big joke a minute! Yet it has to be noted that the tears came on in the dock of the City of London Magistrates Court before the Magistrates. No problem - a mere remand in custody until 22 SEPTEMBER 2011 - next Thursday. He did his own thing - he perpetrated a series of FALSE TRADES. He used various means to cover up his Improper Conduct. Gambling the bank's money as one giant casino of high risk stakes. CASINO Bankers get MILLIONS IN BANKERS BONUSES [YOUR MONEY?] and LAVISH EXPENSE ACCOUNTS [YOUR MONEY?]. As a "MASTER of the UNIVERSE" - life for a "MASTER of the UNIVERSE" is one big joke against those who have to work for pennies for each hour of hard graft. FRAUD? FALSE ACCOUNTING? DECEIT? ABUSE OF TRUST ...
