This is a village meeting (Bose va Koro). A real one. Where the Village Chief was sitted at the top and the village headmen, village pastor, village elders (all male) are sitted on the side and infront facing the village chief. The ladies are sitted just behind the men. They are also part of the meeting and they also have a say in the meetings. This is my view of democracy. This is democracy at the grassroot level in Fiji Islands. Where people like you and me have a say. Without it, democracy at the national level will be WEAK!!!!!!

I had to do a senior project for my religion class on a country to present to the class that would be worth investing in. We had to convince the class what was good about our place.
