Rolling Landscape is a journey across a country from one end to the other over the duration of about a minute and a half. It's looking to find the gestalt of a country in terms of that countries environment; we could refer to these videos as cross sections of geography. Rolling Landscape seeks to give the viewer a sense of place as in the traditions of landscape painting. *meant to be looped for installation.

He managed to assemble an army of 6000 Estonian men from different counties, but he was killed during the Battle of St. Matthew's Day in September 1217.[19] In 1228, in the aftermath of the Livonian Crusade, to the 1560s, Estonia became part of Terra Mariana, established on 2 February 1207[20] as a principality of the Holy Roman Empire[21] and proclaimed by pope Innocent III in 1215 as a subject to the Holy See.[22] The southern parts of the country were conquered by Livonian Brothers of the Sword who joined the Teutonic Order in 1237 and became its branch known as Livonian Order. In the Northern parts of the country was formed Duchy of Estonia[23] as a direct dominion of the King of Denmark from 1219 until 1346 when it was sold to the Teutonic order and became part of the Ordenstaat.[24] In 1343, the people of northern Estonia and Saaremaa rebelled against the German rule in the St. George's Night Uprising, which was put down by 1345. The Estonian flag song was composed by E. Võrk and written by M. Lipp. The near-literal English translations of both songs follow. We flew thousands of miles to escape America's HORRIBLE health care system to get way better maternity care at less than one tenth the cost!! This birthing center in Tartu, Estonia costs less than a thousand dollars for the MOST EXPENSIVE "luxury" package they offer - multiple night stay (for the whole family), catered and delivered food, and of course all the nurses, midwives, doctors, surgeons and equipment and testing you could ever really need. Bonus: they don't the baby away from the Mother! They do however run all the necessary tests and diagnostics and they do provide all the amenities conducive to giving birth - at far less than one tenth the price of anything in America and without the INSANE C-section rates found in and around Manhattan. That's why it is our second time here!!
