Three protesters arrested in a late-night raid days before the start of this weekend's 60-nation NATO summit in Chicago have been charged with terrorism for possession of explosive devices, police and their attorney have said. The men have been accused of making Molotov cocktails and planning to attack President Barack Obama's campaign headquarters, Mayor Rahm Emanuel's home and other targets during this weekend's conference, prosecutors said Saturday. Egyptians are marching in the streets protesting their government. They feel it is corrupt and hasn't addressed their concerns over the poor economy and lack of jobs. As the Egyptians protest, there is an underground movement by groups in Egypt who want to see the government crumble so that they can take power. One of these groups is the Muslim Brotherhood. Two of the top candidates running to become Egypt's first post-revolution president have squared off in the Arab world's first televised presidential debate, one whose focus became a sometimes angry debate over their controversial pasts. Egyptians crowded around television sets in outdoor cafes for the four-hour debate on Thursday night, aired in two segments over several independent TV channels - a new experiment for Egypt after nearly 30 years of authoritarian rule under President Hosni Mubarak. Former Mubarak-era foreign minister and Arab League chairman Amr Moussa pressed Islamist doctor and former high-ranking Muslim Brotherhood member Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh over the latter's connections to conservative religious groups, suggesting in the end that if his opponent became president it risked a return to insecurity and terrorism. Israel launched a number of air strikes in Gaza targeting terror sites early Friday, hours after 8 Israelis were killed and scores wounded in a series of coordinated terror attacks on Israeli civilians cars, buses and security forces near Eilat. Six Israeli civilians and two members of the security forces were killed by terrorists armed with automatic weapons, bomb belts, anti-tank rockets and explosives. Some of the terrorists wore Egyptian military uniforms. Israeli security officials estimate between 15 to 20 terrorists participated in the series of attacks on Highway 12 not far from the southern city ofEilat. The terrorists from Gaza crossed into Egypt and infiltrated Israel from the Sinai, crossing over the border near an Egyptian military post. They then took up positions along the highway and prepared to kill. At least seven of the terrorists were killed by Israeli soldiers and members of the anti-terror unit, the Egyptian Army said it killed two, and the rest are believed to have fled back into Egypt. On Thursday night addressing the Nation, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu warned if "anyone thinks we will accept this they are wrong." Sending his condolences to the families and wishing the injured a speedy recovery he announced that the terrorists who planned the attack are no longer among the living.
