The Cold Sulphur Springs which is located in a very clearly defined volcanic crater known as Bellevue Mountain. Morne Diablotin is Dominicas highest mountain at an elevation of 1447m. Located in a national park bearing its name, it is also classified as a stratovolcano and is thought to contain around five lava domes. Sub aquatic fumarole activity is present to the west of this mountain in Prince Rupert Bay and a subterranean geothermal layer creates natural hot springs in the Picard region.
