Interview with Rikke Frisk, Project Manager STRØM "STRØM is an electronic music festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, this year for the 3rd time. We celebrate electronic music in all its variations, bringing it out to people all over the city, not only in the usual clubs, we take it to the parks, we take it to the museums and the movies, the metro. We try to be as accessible as possible and invite people in saying that this is for all of you. What really makes STRØM different is that we take the music very seriously, not only the quality of the music, but also the experience in itself. Danish documentary from 2010. William Zulu is a gardener in a small village in Zambia. Both his sisters have died and together they have left him no less than 21 children. Because there are practically no orphanages in Zambia, the children are entirely dependent on William, who tries his best to raise them properly, despite the daily struggle to fill 21 bellies. But what do you do when monkeys repeatedly try to ruin the harvest? And how can a small, blue water pump affect the existence of an entire family? Due to problems with the permissions, Clean Boys told HP of the Distorted picnic diy, that we had to make a plan B. We would NOT accept it to be cancelled totally! He aggreed, and so to work - we called the good farmer Henrik Dyrbjerg if we could lend his farm the next coming weekend for a punk-alternative festival!? I less than a week we got it all up standing, and could open Skibby Østergård to folks saturday. the 18th. July for a brilliant 1-day festival with 9 live-bands! Set to the song "Slow Show" by The National, who were kind enough to allow me to use their music. It is a non-commercial short film, intended for festivals. It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and "Boxer" by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure. No Knox is considered to be one of Denmark's first three punk bands. This track is probably from 1978. Among the band members are Per Buhl Acs (aka Per No Knox), Niels Thomsen and Jesper Reisinger. No Knox played at Denmark's first ever larger punk festival "Concert of the Day" in 1978 and at the later legendary "Pær Punk", "Concert of the Moment" and "Nosferatu Festival" punk festivals.
