Czech drama depicting the assasination of Reinhard Heydrich in 1942 by parachutists from the group ANTHROPOID. The planning of Heydrich's assasination is drawing to an end. Since he feels extremely safe in a country that he pacified with "sugar and whip", he regularly goes from his seat at the castle in Panenske Brezany without any armed escort of his car. An idea to stop his car with a steel cable on the road outside Prague is rejected, because the open landscape offers no chance to escape. Eventually, the assasins choose a turning in the Liben quarter, where his car must slow down. Members of the Czech resistance are afraid of possible consequences of this act and they persuade the parachutists to call it off. Captain Bartos, the commander of the group SILVER A, thus sends a radio dispatch to England, but with no reply. In the morning of 27 May, 1942, Heydrich is heading to the Ruzyně airport, from where he is to fly to Fuehrer to Berlin. In the Liben curve, he is already awaited by three determined men - Valcik (who is to signalize Heydrich's arrival), Gabcik (intending to kill him with a Sten-Gun), and Kubis (waiting with a grenade, if Gabcik's attempt failed). I know that you probably dont know the boy in this crossover, but he is from czech drama May (Máj) and his name is Vilem, girl is Sansa from Game of Thrones, I used her because she looks really adorable with him!! and of course i couldnt help myself and I used tv show Merlin too.. well I used Uther as Sansa's father & king. Before video: This video is bassicaly about Sansa's first love, Vilem, but he was poor, so when the king(her father) found out about their love he prisoned Vilem. Story: Vilem waits in dungeon for his own execution..In the same time, Sansa begs her father king for mercy for Vilem, but king will not give her that pleasure. And with execution which is coming Sansa and Vilem remember how they met and how they fell in love. After execution Sansa takes her life on her own hands and she's going to jump from rock.. I was doing a series of alternative portraits of people who cast themselves out of accepted society by transforming their appearance in some sort of extreme way with tattoos, piercings and disfigurement. I wanted to go one-step further. I wanted to capture various personalities who changed their appearance and then were accepted back into society because of their unique talent, ambitions and creativity. I came across Vladimir Franz in Prague. I would see him on the street and wonder who this person was. I later found out that Vladimir is a prominent Czech music composer, painter, stage music author and a leading personality of Czech post-modern drama. I was intrigued and wanted to know more. I filmed this clip with David Smith. We captured Vladimir preparing a music composition and conducting a small orchestra in a Brno music studio. We then went to his country cottage where he has his painting studio. A fan tribute to Czech movie Pesti ve tme (Fists in the dark), a sort of noir sport drama set in 1930s Prague which follows the true life story of local world middleweight boxing champion and later a fighter pilot Vilda Jaks (called Vilda Jakub in the movie), who died in combat in 1943. The movie was made in 1986 and since then almost faded into total obscurity, which is a real shame :-) the song is from films original soundtrack
