This action is inspired by Aion Primal Geometry - 10 symbols found in nature - which joins all religions and cultures over time. Barbara Streiff, an artist involved with AKAMAS, is the curator. Each year she lives and works in the Paphos area of Cyprus as an international artist. She has created worldwide exhibitions and installations with her Aion pictures and sculptures. The concept behind the artwork is to save and celebrate nature through creative acts. We will build symbols from primal geometry using natural elements and materials: stones, earth, water, and fire. For example, we might build a cross with wood, a spiral with stones, a circle with fire, or a line with water. We only work with local materials from nature and with the natural energy from the Earth. My childhood and family friend Theodore Pizanis married Reshma Srivastava a renowned sitar player in the A Line in India, daughter of a professor of music at the University of Allahabad. In this piece she is playing in a very beautiful venue on the island of Cyprus, the ancient land of Aphrodite with Rhea Bailey who paints an installation while Reshma plays.

Eniaptycha is a creative act an ongoing painting concerto it is a celebration of light, colour and life it is a performance of creation act an opening to personal expression composed of the tension between space, colour and plans it is an immediate image happened at once large areas and strokes of a more or less flat colour developed by a restless and visceral work to form our consciousness. Eniaptycha is a term coined by leading Cypriot and international artist Rhea Bailey to describe her art work which is divided into nine sections and make a contribution to the form and extent of the art work. It is also the title of her current exhibition at Casteliotissa Hall in Nicosia, Cyprus. Eniaptycha represents the culmination of more than 40 years of artistic experience. In her Eniaptycha Rhea not only changes the direction of contemporary abstract art but also expands the creative and expressive extent of art work. She combines abstraction and expressionism to translate her observations of the material world and to emphasize the emotional content of the work as well as to convey to the viewer the expressiveness of place and time. DIVINE INSPIRATION The queen of Cyprus is Aphrodite. Aphrodite was the merciful of Cyprus, a title also of the Virgin Mary the merciful of Cyprus; she is the queen of Cyprus in Christianity, the celestial Maria but also the mother of Christ. Kykkotissa, is the merciful of Kykkos. This connection is very important because we see the virginity on the one side and the giving birth to God on the other, we see Aphrodite who blesses the place through the mysteries of love and beauty. Evanthia and Mary have been friends for many years and through their discussions concerning the two primary female figures of Cyprus, came the inspiration for a collaboration highlighting the various epithets/attributes of Aphrodite and Panayia and try to establish any links. The series of paintings and icons under the title Pantanassa came about as a result of Mary Plant's interest in Aphrodite and Evanthia Kouma's interest in Byzantine icons and in particular the Panayia (Virgin Mary). Stass is the creator of a massive work of street art, a sculpture wall at Lempa village, near the Cyprus town of Paphos. His work is in art galleries all over the world, including London's Tate Gallery. This film is by King Adz, and was made in the summer of 2006 at the Cyprus Summer Studio at the Cyprus College of Art.
