Through the looking glass. A collection inspired by Alices adventures in wonderland. A marvelous imaginary place, a place were contemporary women have the leading role in a real world that one perceives to have dream-like qualities. In my wonderland, women have the role of Alice; a young girl and a dreamer. The dresses take us back to the years of innocence. Crisp collars, apron inspired details on dresses remind us of the image of Alice falling down the rabbit hole. Retro strict shapes mirror the playing cards that were painting the roses red. Pure silk and silk mouselin in pastel colours of dusty pink, flesh, sand, white, green and turquoise, challenge this Spring Summer 2010 collection and takes on real-life matters.
