BBC's continue their anti-China bias in this report about China's investment in Congo. The report started subtly and then proceeded to spin China's massive aid and investment into something ominous and "devilish". There's a report that the western multinationals are not happy about China's competing with them (for the natural resources of Congo) and have voiced their displeasure to the BBC reporter.

Lucero Mundo is often referred to in some Palo lineages as "Alumbrado," which translates into English to mean "light-bearer" or "Illuminati." But where in history do we first come across the concept of the "Alumbrado?" According to many accounts, there was a secret society of Black Moors that flourished in Spain, Portu...gal and France in the 1600s and 1700s that called itself "Alumbrado" or "Illuminati." And there are also records that indicate that the Alumbrados were banished by the Inquisition to Angola and the Americas. This chapter in early black American history is proof that when paleros say that Lucero Mundo is "Alumbrado" they are referring to the Christianized Moorish mysteries of the medieval Black Europeans that came to the early Americas by way of Angola, Sao Tome, and the Cape Verde Islands

Cortometraggio documentaristico realizzato da Silvia Degani che racconta la storia di John Mpaliza, cittadino congolese (Congo RD) che vive in Italia dal 1994 e stabilmente a Reggio Emilia dal 1997. Ha una laurea breve in Ingegneria Informatica conseguita presso l'Università degli Studi di Parma e lavora come programmatore/sistemista e architecture manager. L'anno scorso (2010) ha deciso di fare qualche per aiutare il suo paese, il Congo RD, paese che ha subito una guerra ed una invasione durate più di un decennio. Questa guerra, economica, orchestrata dalle multinazionali dell'hi-tech ha fatto più di 6 milioni di morti ed altrettanti profughi nel pieno silenzio delle istituzioni internazionali. Nel Congo RD, secondo il rapporto "mapping" dell'ONU, vi è stato un genocidio nel decennio tra il 1993 ed il 2003. Ma sembra non interessi a nessuno. Infatti, l'unico interesse per molti è quello economico (vedi sfruttamento di minerali come il coltan). John ha deciso quindi di trovare una sistema per denunciare questi crimini di guerra, informare e sensibilizzare più gente che posso sulla situazione in cui si trova il mio paese. L'anno scorso è stato a camminare a Santiago de Compostela (Spain) e quest'anno si recherà a Roma, sempre a piedi. La partenza è fissata per il 26 giugno 2011, per arrivare a Roma 2 settimane e mezzo o 3 settimane dopo. La pace è possibile ma non può arrivare se non la si cerca. Questo è il suo contributo à la causa del suo amatissimo paese. Spero dia ...
