Community Work 2010 in Southern Thailand. 16 volunteers volunteered for the teaching volunteer. A one-month self-funded program (from June-July) and an independent student organized program with an aim to provide language literacy to selected schools in Pattani and Yala by teaching both conversational English and conversational Malay. In other words, this was a pilot project suggested by Dr. Yabit Alas and the rest of the staff from the Language Centre, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

They are grouped into a group called "Local Malay", part of a larger group called "Malayan" within the Malayo-Polynesian branch of the Austronesian language family. The various forms of Malay are spoken in Brunei, Indonesia (where the national language, Indonesian, is a variety of it), Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and southern Thailand. NOTE: I am pronouncing the words in Bahasa Baku Melayu, which is Standard Malay, I dont know if I should include the colloquial version, but I think I will for the upcoming videos.
