Melayu Islam Beraja
Duration : 264 Seconds

Synopsis Melayu Islam Beraja (Malay Islamic Monarchy, MIB; Jawi: ملايو اسلام براجا) is the adopted national philosophy of Negara Brunei Darussalam. MIB was officially proclaimed as the national philosophy of Brunei on the day of its independence on January 1, 1984 by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. MIB is described as "a blend of Malay language, culture and Malay customs, the teaching of Islamic laws and values and the monarchy system which must be esteemed and practiced by all" Bruneis culture is therefore deeply rooted in its Malay origins, which are reflected in the nations language, architecture, ceremonies, and customs governing daily life. If Malay traditions are Bruneis cultural root, then Islam is its heart. While Brunei is indeed a devoutly Muslim country, the national philosophy is one of respectful tolerance, allowing for the practice of other religions and beliefs. Brunei is ruled according to the national philosophy of the Malay Islamic Monarchy. Bruneians practice a devout but tolerant brand of Islam, which encompasses sincere respect and devotion, while still remaining open to other faiths and beliefs. Modern scholars date the spread of Islam to Brunei Darussalam to the late 13th century. As Islam is the foundation for the life of the average Bruneian, many of the nations cultural practices and customs are intrinsically linked with religion. Aesthetically, Islam introduced important architectural features such as the ubiquitous mosques and art styles such as the ...

The History of Religions in Indonesia (Islam,Christianity,Hinduism,Buddhism,Confucianism)
Duration : 604 Seconds

CORRECTION : ISLAM CAME TO INDONESIA IN 7th CENTURY,NOT 17th CENTURY !!! The reason I'm making this video is to respond the ignorant and stupid comments of people who do not know about the history of religions living in Indonesia.exp : "Islam has killed many non-Muslims in Indonesia ! " really ? Do you find the evidence? , or you just watch and hear the propaganda news abroad ?. precisely in Indonesia, religious activities are protected by the government, both of religions that have been recognized as an official religion or religion not officially recognized.Indonesian people whatever their religion is very religious society, this proves there are no temples or houses of worship were destroyed, while many Indonesian people no longer embrace that religions.so anyone who wants to give a comment insulting Indonesia and religions that exist in this video, chances are I will not accept that comments, except comments which explains more about the history of religions in Indonesia..Please be Advise !!!

In Search of Burgess: Brunei — Devil of a State نڬارا بروني دارالسلام
Duration : 772 Seconds

The Burgess novel 'Devil of a State' (1961) is about Brunei, which Burgess renamed Naraka, Malayo-Arabic for hell (for legal reasons the name was changed to 'Dunia'). Extracts: The Antipods...were always ready to burst. There were...smiles of encouragement for Lydgate, and some smiles of sweet pity as well, as for the only leper present. A...taxi...Chinese youth..."You," he said. ...wild-life protection cranks, birth control propagandists... Lydgate opened the sort of letter..."My dear husband I very good...I come in flying ship...we be very happy...love." It was as satisfactory a letter as he had ever received from a woman. "All right," said Rowlandson. He began shakily to count out notes. Near-broken, he was still an Englishman; he would not bargain. ...all heroes and heroines trying to approximate, through barriers of pigmentation, to the Hebraico-Caucasian norm of Hollywood From ancient drains and sewers of the language (maritime inns and brothels...), from scrawls in the catacombs...whoremasters' chapbooks...the vocabulary of tavern brawls ...no European whore's mock-respectability. ...the sin of gluttony, also the sin of lecherous intent toward an honourable and high-placed matron....But more sin is to come, and that sin a double one, namely of lechery in act, perhaps venial in the young but by no means to be condoned, and of adultery, which Saint John saith shall be punished by fire for the act and brimstone for the stink of the ordure of the partners in that sin ...

Sinhala Christians
Duration : 162 Seconds

Do Christians follow their religion? In Sri Lanka, many Christians are actively involved in trying to convert others to Christianity, just like in Iraq, Palestine, Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and other Asian countries. They are creating religious ill will in the process and spreading lies about other religions and their followers. The question remains, how well do Sri Lankan Christians follow their own religion? www.answering-christianity.com Click on the above link for a comparative study between Christianity and Islam. www.missionislam.com
