Brazil actor playing Judas dies from accidental hanging A Brazilian actor has died after accidentally hanging himself while playing Judas in an Easter Passion play. reenactment vidwww.bbc.co.uk Tiago Klimeck, 27, was enacting the suicide of Judas during the performance on Good Friday in the city of Itarare. The actor was hanging for four minutes before fellow performers realised something was wrong. Klimeck was taken to hospital suffering from cerebral hypoxia but died on Sunday. The Passion play was being performed in Itarare, 345km (214 miles) west of Sao Paulo. Klimeck was re-enacting the scene in which Judas commits suicide in repentance for his betrayal of Jesus Christ. Police are investigating the apparatus that was meant to support Klimeck. It appears the knot may have been erroneously tied. When the actors realised something was wrong, Klimeck was taken down and found to be unconscious. The Santa Casa de Itapeva hospital has confirmed the death and an autopsy will take place on Monday. So why was the the Halloween party in Brazil probably the best in the world? Well, of course that was because Twilight Saga stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner touched down in the South American country just in time to make an appearance. Local reporters say that after their plane landed, Lautner and Stewart waited on their plane for over an hour, hoping that the massive crowds that were waiting for them at the airport would dwindle a bit. Of course that never happened, and so big barricades were set up surrounding the duo's hotel. Kristen and Taylor did make a cameo at an event dedicated to LUA NOVA-which btw is New Moon in Portuguese. Kristen rocked a black/metallic outfit, while Taylor was his usual laid-back, chic self. Brazilian girls who weren't lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Taylor Lautner en vivo aren't totally out of luck. TL is gracing the cover of the hugely popular Atrevida magazine. And of course he's looking fabulous like always. Although we do think that the expression on his face is reading as a bit more mysterious than we're used to seeing from him. Don't you agree? In the magazine, Lautner says that he's still in school-he's enrolled at his local community college and he takes classes whenever he has time...which we're guessing is probably never based ...

The hugely popular (and controversial) gay storyline from the Brazilian soap opera "America" (2005) is one of my favorite gay love stories ever; even though the TV channel (Rede Globo) didn't dare to air what would have been the first gay (men) kiss on Brazil's daytime TV (that the actors had filmed ,though), the guys showed their passion with lots of intense stares (and good acting): actually, this story is full of "eye sex"... and It depicts gays in a positive way (with happy ending: the guys end up together).
