Alina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was first turned on to music at age 7. When she was 9 years old, she started playing piano, and at age 13 she started singing lessons. Alina would then continue studying classical music at Conservatorio Nacional de Musica Clasica, and jazz, tango and folklore at Escuela de Musica Popular de Avellaneda, in Buenos Aires City. She also studied Arabic dance, joining a company and performing at a festival in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 1994. She started to work professionally at the age of 18 as a solo piano-singer in events, weddings, hotels. She also joined the tango orchestra ORQUESTA MUNICIPAL DE AVELLANEDA, directed by renowned Hector Mele, performing at renowned theatres. Later on, she moved to Spain were she continued her career playing at the cities of Barcelona, Madrid and Granada. In January 2008 she fulfilled a four month contract with Savia Latina Trio, at the hotel The Palace, The Old Town (Sofitel) in Dubai, with great success among guests and hotel managers. In 2009 she was playing at the Grand Hyatt Muscat (Oman) for 6 months. In 2010 was performing at Ritz Carlton Osaka (Japan) for 6 months. In 2011 she is working at Marriot hotel Seoul (South Korea).
