The caves coral floor is estimated to be 400000 to 500000 years old and the younger coral section above the floor is about 126000 years old. Thousands more end up run over, drowned and starved to death. There are too many dogs and not enough homes! There is a solution! Neuter your dog! The single most important thing that we can do to save animals from all the suffering and death that their overpopulation causes is to spay and neuter them. Just one female dog and her offspring can produce 67000 puppies. So every time we spay or neuter just one animal, we prevent the births of thousands of animals. Our goal is to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted dogs while educating pet owners about the wonderful benefits of having their dog neutered.

That safety came in the form of Sanctuary One, where our rockstar intern Caroline has helped nurse and nurture him literally since day one. While the two are practically inseparable, Bryan is also learning to live and love with the non-human animals of Sanctuary One. And yes, he is in fact the most adorable creature ever. Sanctuary One at Double Oak Farm is the first care farm in Southern Oregon. Care farms are farms where people, animals, and the earth work together for mutual healing.

Here is a short video of a trip I took to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. It is supposed to be where you can get up close and personal with monkeys, but unfortunately my timing was not very good. Still, there is a gigantic snake, lots of turtles, and some hidden crocs and some other weird lookin' animals.

Genuia Gogg Farm is a Black Belly Sheep Farm located at Cane Garden St.Thomas Barbados. The Black Belly Sheep is a prolific breeder best fed on Sugar Cane tops and grass with lean meat low in fat. Synthetic feeding has shown to increase fat content of meat. Most Barbadian chefs and hotels use this meat in local dishes because of it delicate taste. It is more expensive than imported mutton or lamb.
