Apartments in Barbados located in Prospect Barbados. There is no consistant sidewalk to Fitts village were there is a grocery. Street is very close as you can see and noisy at times. Not a very secure apartment. We stayed in the studio for the first week of our stay and did not realize the private balcony was on the roof and in clear view of the road and other apartments / neighbouring homes. To get to the patio you must exit the apartment onto the driveway then up the stairs to the patio. No view from the room.

Barbados apartment ocean front 2 bedroom Sunny Banks. Beautiful views and sound of waves very relaxing. enjoyed the hottub. well supplied kitchen. location is not great if you like to walk. beach was very short when we went.

Banks (Barbados) Breweries Limited in a stunning coup when they signed leading Barbadian artiste Rupee to produce a musical tribute to Banks Beer based around Rupee's 2011 Cropover mega-hit "I am a Bajan". This was a part of their major activity for Banks' 50th Anniversary themed around "Cheers to 50 Years!"

From early May, Barbadians were angered at a new type of carton & flavour in their regular milk and 2% variety from PHD. On Facebook, a group was created to combat the new development as an online petition independently was devised to get the word "FRESH" removed from its labelling. The Bajan Reporter composed an article ridiculing the backlash since the Main Writer saw nothing wrong witht the new taste or package except for size -- accordingly, Banks Holdings Ltd invited the Bajan Reporter to a Poress Conference which looked at the Facebook response, the use of FRESH, why the size change and what budget was used to create the new method of storing the popular liquid. We tour Oistins during the day and meet with a fish vendor. She tells us about about her job and we take a first hand look and the Barbados Flying Fish, which is part of our national dish in Barbados. Cou Cou and Flying Fish. Rezza joins her while boning the fish. We also meet with a group of Canadians who talk about their trip to Barbados and how they like Barbados Beaches, Banks Beer, the safety of the island and their views on the Bajan people. Then we hit up the night life at OIstins where we do a cooking session with Bellamy's Bar. They fry up loads of Fish including, snapper and dolphin. Rezza takes a flip or two of the fish and heads off into the party at the Oistins fish festival.... We capture the tourists having a blast, dancing to the latest music, hip hop, pop and reggae. Everyone seemed as though they we having so much fun, shouting out that they were definitely coming back to Barbados. Barbados is beautiful and safe in Caribbean standards. The old English customs still linger and the place has tons of European tourists. The beaches are just awesome, the great advantage Barbados has comes from its geographical location. The east coast is rustic, the south is windy and the west is calm as a result of they facing different oceans. It is also a great cricketing country, the locals be it a taxi driver or the lady who fries fish, if they are older than 40 then they know cricket very well. You have to start the conversation and then just listen. The fish fry at Oistins is great, try the king fish with local Banks beer. The only downside is, the place can be very expensive compared to other places in Caribbean.
