i had such a hard time trying to make hetalia serious! the music belongs to immediate music and i make no claim or rights to it in anyway shape or form. and i only wished i could be the genious who made hetalia (unfortunatly i'm not) hope you all enjoy! The Imperial Royal military of Austria-Hungary has become fashionable to downplay, however, they were in fact a potent force; one of the largest in the world, and given the array of disadvantages they faced their accomplishments should be considered remarkable. On land they performed well in numerous campaigns, particularly on the Italian front, and at sea the small Austrian submarine force actually had a higher ratio of kills vs torpedoes fired than even the Germans. Their artillery was superb and, with help from their allies played a large part in the victories on the eastern and Balkan fronts and produced a number of extremely able commanders. Count Conrad von Hoetzendorf was considered the best strategist in Europe at the time of the war. Others such as Baron Straussenburg, Archduke Joseph who was very popular with the Hungarians, Marshal Krobatin, Captain von Trapp Austria's top u-boat ace and the Serbian Orthodox Croat Marshal Boroevic who was the first Slav to be made a field marshal. Other junior officer also went on to great success in succeeding conflicts.

Campaign battle. Prussia (human) vs. Austria. In the game, Austria moved a army to intercept the smallest of 3 Prussian corps moving against Vienna. The battle took place near the modern town of Powang, Austria. The Austrians moved their infantry against the Prussian line and quickly had their left overwhelmed by Prussian infantry and cavalry attacks. The Austrians also did not have fire by rank and their center, while outnumbering the Prussians, could not break through and eventually routed under withering Prussian fire. The Prussians also took out the Austrian cannon with two cavalry charges from units hidden in the woods. The Austrians also made a push to take the farming house and the orchard and the fighting was bitter and hard fought. A final charge by the Grenadiers and fierce hand to hand finally pushed the Austrians out of the orchard. The final Austrian attack was by a unit of irregular infantry against the flanking Prussian units, but it was attacked by two sides and routed.

This is a test nothing more, I am wondering if people will even be interested in this sort of vid frankly there is no action just me staring at the campaign map :( Anyway I had a request to do a campaign and here it is, this is just the first turn of the campaign but arguably the most important as any mistakes you make here will cost you dearly in future battles. I try to show my way of balancing economics, trade and military development aswell as naviagting through diplomacy and trade. This is Part 3 of my Campaign vid, showing more stupid stuff by the ai on the campaign map. I hoped to show you how to force the ai into a ceasefire so you can move troops elsewhere, but the ai was not having any of it. I also show a sort of 'quick fix' to ensure rebellions are quelled quickly by simply shifting governers around.
