For the past 9 years I have been selling works online and in galleries within Victoria. Jane Crawford Intro: Jane grew up with her adoptive family in Mount Isa ,Queensland. Her real mother Pam is a well known aboriginal artist in the Northern Territory and it was not until an arranged meeting in 1986 that things suddenly changed for Jane. Already having obtained a bachelor of arts at the University of Queensland and working on a number of inner city projects Jane settled back with her mother for a year. Absorbing all the traditional methods of indigenous paintings combining with her own style Jane began to create and sell artworks in galleries around Darwin and Alice in the late 80's early 90's. JC's art was first showcased in the aboriginal art gallery during the Brisbane Expo in 1988 (where we met) and since has sold to galleries worldwide. In 1995 Jane had an illness which made it too hard to paint and only in the last couple of years she has returned to "the thing she likes best'.

Music provided by Krill Song: Lady Vegemite www.krill.com.au So what is Vegemite? According the the packaging it is "Concentrated Yeast Extract". I did a little research and originally came from the left overs from brewing beer. Supposedly it is quite good for you and is full of Vitamin B. The taste is hard to describe salty, tangy, and bitter. It is definitely an acquired taste. It was difficult for me to find it in the US, and I had to order it off the internet. There was some controversy in the media awhile back about it being banned in the United States. I guess it was like everything else in the media, overblown sensationalism with little truth and a lot of spin.

I was on the Snazaroo face painting stand on day 1, then I went back on day 2 to take some photos and get plenty of face painting ideas from some of Australia's most talented and clever body artists and face painters.
