"Save the Animals" Charity Non-Government Organization was initiated in 1999 and in 2005 the Organization was officially registered with Armenian State Registrar. The goal of our organization is in a civilized way to control the increasing number of stray animals to fight against their murder. It was in 2003 when we without any state support, just owing to volunteer contribution, with a lot of difficulties had succeeded to establish an animal rescue shelter, the only one in Armenia. There was exerted a lot of efforts on our side to begin construction of the sanctuary in the derelict territory of 3600 sq m. In fact, we were voluntarily performing all kind of work which varied from being cleaner up to constructor's responsibilities. Until today in the territory of our animals rescue shelter we have constructed a surgery, a kitchen, quarantine designated facilities, places for animals and conditions to sterilize animals were set up as well. Today there is also functioning Animal Care Centre, where every animal is examined, vaccinated and shall not represent source of any disease for the surrounding world. The Care of animals in the sanctuary is carried out solely by the financial means raised by "Save the Animals" Charity NGO through volunteer contributions. More then 220 dogs have found shelter here, which has escaped from human's cruel treatment. By the exerted efforts of the volunteer staff of the sanctuary most of the animals have found new owners.

Korean artist Ji Yong-Ho combines various types of tires to create unusual realistic sculptures of animals. In Lion 2 he used stainless steel structures, in order to express the dynamic features of four-legged animal. The limbs of the Lion 2 are elaborated with shredded motorcycle tires and the fur is represented with turned out tires. Tires are a medium that translate what the artist means to express most sufficiently. The black tires are reminiscent of industrialization, which includes industrial material, industrial wastes, and even environmental pollution. He focuses on mutated animals and especially on artificial mutation. His works seem terrorizing and strong but the truth is that they are fragile and unstable. A reporter from the BBC, Fergal Keane, as well as his Producer, James Miller, engage in a propagandistic sham of a news report, the purpose of which is to affirm the tragic events in WWI Ottoman Turkey as a genocide. They use the most corrupt facts and close their eyes to everything else, outrageously betraying their role as objective journalists. As usual, they totally ignore the vast mass-killing crimes of the Armenians, and any counter-evidence they come across, no matter how impartial or logical, is made sure to be to labeled as denial. It is not the first time a news organization, even a generally careful one as the BBC, has engaged in such a destructive form of prejudice. What they have done would have emerged as less harmful if only their propaganda would have been lost to the airwaves. But of course, the young Armenians of YouTube, so absolutely brainwashed and without the capacity to think independently, are quick to regard anything that deals with their beloved obsession as an affirmation, regardless of the truthfulness of the claims. This BBC production in particular has been repeated some half a dozen times on YouTube. It is time to examine the validity of the claims of "The Betrayed." The examination here is not based upon the shortened versions offered on YouTube, but on the full hour-long program that the BBC has made available on the Internet. 31 July 2010 - Sona Shahgeldyan (Armenia) became the winner of New Wave 2010 song contest. This is the video of the 3rd contest day, day of premieres. Sona performed a new song "Koroost te gandz" ("Loss or treasure"). She was the only contestant to get 11 points from all jury members. The winner of the gets the statue of 1st place and 50000 Euro, part of which Sona is going to donate to homeless animals.
