A tribute to the "One Holy Universal Apostolic Orthodox Armenian Church" thats the full name (I had to look it up ) :p Anyways the main song is from Levon Minassians album "Songs From A World Apart" called "Ter Voghormya". I mixed it with a cupple of other songs from the Armenian Religious Songs and Ensemble Akn Enjoy!

Faith Armenian Church is an independent Christian church, also known as the Armenian Apostolic Church (it is also referred to as the Armenian Orthodox Church or the Gregorian Church). Its head is the Catholicos, who resides at Holy Etchmiadzin, near Yerevan,the capital of Armenia. In 301 AD Armenia became the first country to establish Christianity as its state religion when St. Gregory the Illuminator convinced Tiridates III, the king of Armenia, to convert to Christianity. Christianity was first introduced by the apostles Bartholomew and Thaddeus in the first century AD. It has existed in Armenia for over 1700 years. Christianity has a strong influence in the country, but there is a small presence of other religions too. Before this, the dominant religion was Zoroastrianism and to a smaller degree paganism. Begining of the mass at the holy Armenian church of Echmiadzin. Surb Echmiadzin is the holy city of Armenians, home to his holiness Karekin II, head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. In 301 AD, Armenia was the first nation to adopt Christianity as the offical state religion! Armenia is only one of two Christian countires in the region; the other being the Republic of Georgia. Sorry if the video is a bit shakey. I video-taped a lot of the mass and I had to hold the camera very high over people's heads. LOL

The personal involvement of the Southern California Armenian community leaders is solicited and their direct recruitment will be sought, to join in the work towards making the long time dream of having a united Armenian body become a reality, one step at a time.
