On July 18, 1994 Palestinian and Iranian terrorists of the Hezbollah terrorist organization loaded up a truck loaded with bombs about 275 kilograms (610 lb) of ammonium nitrate fertilizer and fuel oil explosive mixture,which was detonated in front of the Jewish Community Center located in a densely constructed area of Buenos Aires which resulted in killing 85 people, Jews and Argentinians (non-Jews). Up til this day Argentinians and Jews remember this day. Since this day I'am a full activist in support of Israel in it's war against terrorism and we know what type of people Israel deals with on a daily basis. Up til this day Argentina is still waiting for an apology from Hezbollah, Iran, PLO and all supporters of Hezbollah. No to Terrorism. Terrorists out of Latin America.

March 10, 2009 In 1994, the Argentine Mutual Jewish Association (AMIA) community center in Buenos Aires was bombed, killing 85 people and wounding 151 others. This is the single deadliest act of anti-Semitic terrorism in Argentinean history. Dr. Alberto Nisman, now the Argentinean Special Prosecutor on Terror, has committed much of his life to pursuing those responsible for the attack. In her speech, Argentine lawyer Victoria Villarruel—president of the Center for Legal Studies on Terrorism and its Victims—exposes a lesser-known part of Argentine history: the terrorism that took place primarily during the 1970s. She cites two major groups—the ERP, or People's Revolutionary Army, and the Montoneros. They began their attacks during a military government, but continued them during a period of democratic rule from 1973 to 1976. To this day, however, the assailants have not been brought to justice; some even enjoy positions in the government. Years later, the victims of these terrorists are still denied justice. Because the terrorists enjoy impunity, the youth of Argentina receive the message that "terrorism is a viable way to achieve political aims." Until Argentina finally acknowledges and prosecutes these past acts of terrorism, the country's youth may continue to believe in the tactic's viability.

Argentina's foreign minister has accused the UK of sending a nuclear-armed submarine to the South Atlantic, near the disputed Falkland Islands. Hector Timerman made the claim at the United Nations on Friday, as Argentina made an official complaint about the UK's "militarisation" of the area.
