| "Los Chinos" de Buenos Aires trailer (english) Duration : 81 Seconds Los Chinos de Buenos Aires trailer in English to read more go to mindfulmediacollective.blogspot.com Original music by Big Science. **** First and foremost, we would like to say that is and always will be the intention of Mindul Media to produce socially responsible and balanced films. It is our foremost concern to champion those that may not be heard in mainstream media outlets. Having said that, we are also committed to the research of social and cultural interaction as well as the constant critique of the world in which we live. In respect to the video we are currently filming: it is in no way a critique of Argentine society specifically. Like our synopsis states (www.mindfulmediavideos.blogspot.com ) immigration and integration is nothing new. Yet it would be untrue to state that cultural myths and stereotypes do not exist. No one doubts that Argentine society supports the supermarkets; this is evident by the fact that there are more than 2500 in Buenos Aires alone. However, this film is a case study in a newly immigrated culture. The divide that exists may not be as blatant as other groups within society, but that does not mean it does not exist. We should all be critiquing what we accept as truth, trying to understand others and not merely what is said about them. Again, we welcome debate and believe it is a healthy process in making a truly honest documentary. Tags :Los, Chinos, de, Buenos, Aires, Mindful, Media

| | DNA tests for Argentina 'dirty war' children - 19 Nov 09 Duration : 360 Seconds Argentina's senate has passed a landmark bill that could force hundreds of people to take DNA tests to see if their parents were some of the thousands who disappeared during the country's so-called "dirty war". The law calls for compulsive DNA testing of those suspected of being born in clandestine detention centres in the 1970s and 80s, when Argentina was ruled by the military. Children born to opponents of the regime were taken and given away to those loyal to the regime. While many children have volunteered for genetic tests, some have refused, fearing that the only parents they have ever known might be taken from them. The idea of forced tests has rekindled tensions in Argentinian society. Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo reports. Tags :aljazeera, Al, Jazeera, Argentina, DNA, Tests, Dirty, War, Parents, Children

He speaks several languages besides Castilian, such as Arabic, Japanese, English, Italian, Portuguese and Russian, and he has versioned all his songs into those languages. His music led him to participate in various songwriting contests (Mexico, Spain, USA) around the globe where he was awarded the first prize in all of them. She's one of the dancers here. es.youtube.com The dance originated in Buenos Aires and Montevideo during the late 19th century. The music derived from the fusion of music from Europe. The word Tango seems to have first been used in Argentina in connection with the dance in the 1890s. Initially it was just one of the many available local dances, but it soon became popular throughout society, as theatres and street barrel organs spread it from the suburbs to the working-class slums, which were packed with hundreds of thousands of European immigrants. The development of the Tango had influences from the cultures of several peoples that came together in these melting pots of ethnicities. For this reason Tango is often referred to as the music of the immigrants to Argentina. In ... | | norro camerlati -- intuición n4 -- -- semantic composition -- Duration : 157 Seconds "Nostalgia of future" : An exploration of real time composition like intuition of duration. Real time cognitive-semantic composition, on drums. (Norro Camerlati. From cd "Nostalgias del futuro".(2001-2005) "To explore is not to explain an enigma : glimpse and register the forms in which it is each step frequently and, as we advanced. The enigmatic thing is what we will not know more than by the presence of an absence; feel nostalgia of the future of which we know exists, but not yet it is revealed to us; to delight to us and to shake to us simultaneously of which it happens and what it could happen as if it had already happened in a stranger dejá-vu. So it is the character of this temporary exploration."
