| Modern Agriculture in Argentina Duration : 263 Seconds CLA staff recently visited Argentina to meet with Mr. Roberto Peiretti of Argentina's No-Till Farmers Association. His leading farm operation is implementing amazing no-till practices and technologies. CLA was introduced to Mr. Peiretti by CropLife Latin America's Dr. Guillermo Cal, CASAFE's former executive director for many years (CASAFE is CropLife's national association for Argentina). Both are interviewed in this video about how Modern Agriculture practices have contributed to increased yields in Argentina. CLA is now looking for additional follow-up opportunities to connect Peiretti with counterpart farmers in the US to expound upon practical implementation of no-till strategies and advancements, creatively pushing new concepts for modern herbicide technologies, biotechnologies and other farming technologies to gain greater sustainability and farm productivity.
