My then-girlfriend Jordan was in Guatemala for a missions trip in summer 2010. Secretly, two days after she left, I flew into Mexico with her brother and we spent a week traveling down the Yucatan Peninsula, through Belize and into Guatemala, eventually ending up in Antigua. Bordered by an enormous volcano and surrounded by cathedrals dating back to the 1500's, Antigua was absolutely gorgeous - and the site of my surprise proposal. The video cut off the first ten seconds or so, a quick narrative of our location and purpose, as well as a panorama of the surrounding view. The video picks up as I'm dashing around the upper level of the cathedral, avoiding the courtyard to the inside so as not to be seen, and follows me down the stairs, and into the courtyard where the surprise question is popped.
