The Humane Society's 35-acre Animal Sanctuary consists of an Animal Shelter for dogs and cats, a Donkey Sanctuary, grazing paddocks and nighttime corrals for rescued horses, sheep and goats and a small Petting Farm. The Sanctuary is located in Delaps near the village of Bethesda, on the eastern side of Antigua about 30 minutes from St. John's. Admission is free, though donations are greatly appreciated to fund the continued great work of the facility.

If you get the chance to visit Antigua, make sure you go to "Stingray City" and check out these lovely animals. It was cloudy the day we were there and I was lucky enough to be all alone with just the guide and the stingrays swimming around me. Filmed with a Sony HC14E (16:9) and Olympus S770SW (4:3), edited in Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12. The song is the end credits from the classic game "Monkey Island 3".

Part 1 of 3 Megan and Steven watch videos on Youtube, and they come across a video which inspires them to drive to Guatemala. Steven learns lots of information about the country from Megan. Note: I apologize for the poor audio in some parts. It was very windy on some of the shooting days, and I lost the windscreen for my mic when shooting a different movie.

chasing an Antiguan lizard with my camera phone uncovers a snake attack by the rare Antiguan Racer. see web page devoted to this endangered snake. our guide had just announced there were no snakes on Antigua, but this beautiful island was half a mile off-shore I guess.

Aren't they just so beautiful? Most are cats, but all of them are from the lovely land of Africa. The movie starts off slow, but it speeds up pretty fast. This song gives me chills every time I hear it. It's all instrumental though. It's from the soundtrack of "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" althouh I'm not sure was the title is. Today we went on an ecological tour aboard the Adventure Antigua. The eight hour tour featured historical landmarks and islands. We visited St. John island to pick up some passengers and then on to Bird Mountain. Bird Mountain is the nesting grounds for Frigate birds in the Caribbean. After hiking to the top, our guide told us about the surrounding sea and other animals on the mountain. Then it was on to Hell's Gate, a natural bridge in a mountain formed by waves from the Atlantic. After a sumptuous lunch, the students went snorkeling and swimming in the Atlantic. It was an exhausting, yet fun day. Tomorrow, we tour The American University of Antigua and St. John, the capital of Antigua for another scavenger hunt.
