It outlines a careful work whose style is contemporary with a predominance of signs and symbols of the Algerian and African soil. The resulting collection comprises some twenty works that highlights the Algerian identity through three epochs and civilizations, Arab, Muslim and African. These frescoes are painted in a palette of ocher impressions of light and serenity in which he pays tribute to African culture multimillennial in general and Algeria in particular. So in this way that Mohamed Smara dug the groove of its expression. His touch is the result of a challenging research task to bring out new sensations, creating a style unique to him, according to his statements. English : The Ahaggar Mountains (Arabic: جبال هقار‎, Berber: idurar n Ahaggar), also known as the Hoggar, are a highland region in central Sahara, or southern Algeria, along the Tropic of Cancer. They are located about 1500 km (900 mi) south of the capital, Algiers and just west of Tamanghasset. The region is largely rocky desert with an average altitude of more than 900 metres (2953 feet) above sea level. The highest peak is at 3003 meters (Mount Tahat). Assekrem is a famous and often visited point where le Père de Foucauld lived in the summer of 1905. The main city nearby the Ahaggar is Tamanghasset, built in a desert valley or wadi. The Ahaggar Mountain range is chiefly volcanic rock and contains a hot summer climate, with a cold winter climate (temperatures fall below 0°C in the winter). The mountains are young—about 2 million years old. Rainfall is rare and sporadic. However, since the climate is less extreme than in most other areas of the Sahara, the Ahaggar Mountains are a major location for biodiversity and host relict species. The Ahaggar Mountains compose the West Saharan montane xeric woodlands ecoregion. It is also one of the national parks of the country. Many people know about the Zabana Museum but very little is written about the famous artists represented there. They have a RODIN sculpture and work by Eugene Fromentin, a French Artist who painted Algeria in the 1800s. I made this video to expose Algerians to the work that was painted in their country and to the fact that his work actually is on display in the country he adored, Algeria. Pierre Deval is featured there as well as many 20th century beloved Algerian artists. I made this little video to let Algerians know just how lovely the Zabana is and to know the fact that Algeria has some great work in its collections. Their address is 19 blvd Zabana, Oran Algeria. They also have a large natural history collection as well as several 18th century paintings. Les médias n´ont pas dit un mot sur sa mort.Une honte!!! Nos artistes,les vrais se cachent pour mourir alors que les médias ne sont branchés que sur les médiocrités des chebs "camion" et chebas "citerna".Ou va l´Algérie????
