Blwyddyn I Heno means A Year from This Day. It tells about Pwyll, a hero in Welsh' Mabinogion. In one of his hunting trip, Pwyll offended Arawn, the Lord of Annwn (Welsh Underworld). To make up for it, Pwyll agreed to help Arawn killed his rival, Havgan. They changed places and shapes for a year, and so Pwyll was known with the title Pen Annwn, "Lord of Beyond."

Hedd Wyn (born Ellis Humphrey Evans) was a Welsh language poet who was killed during the Battle of Passchendaele in World War I. He was posthumously awarded the bard's chair at the 1917 National Eisteddfod. Evans, who had been awarded several chairs for his poetry, was inspired to take the bardic name Hedd Wyn from the way sunlight penetrated the mist in the Meirionydd valleys. Wales is richer today, as his home farm, Yr Ysgwrn has recently been saved for the nation of Wales. Cantorion Colin Jones are a male voice choir from North Wales. This song reflects the tale from the third cycle of Welsh's epic Mabinogion, about Pryderi and his mother, Rhiannon, who succumbed into a curse planted by the old foe of Pryderi's father. Pryderi, the son of the Horse Goddess Rhiannon, succeeded his father Pwyll as the Chieftain of Dyfed. When he was throwing a banquet celebrating his mother's marriage with the Sea God's son Manawydan, there was a peal of thunder and mist fell. When the mist cleared, the land was desolate and barred of animals or people except Pryderi, his wife Cigfa, Rhiannon, and Manawydan. After years living of wild game and fish, the four decided to travel to Lloegyr (England), but Manawydan and Prydery's skills as craftsmen made them enemies of many. They came back to the ruined castle, where Pryderi and his mother were trapped under the spell of a golden bowl fastened by four chains on a marble slab; the spell had been put by the wife of Pwyl's old enemy, Llwyd. Under that spell, Prydery and Rhiannon were forced to work as donkeys. Eventually, Manawydan was able to catch the perpetrator, freed both mother and son, and cleared the land from the curse.

Calon Lân is a Welsh song, the words of which were written in the 19th century by Daniel James (23 January 1848 - 11 March 1920) to a tune by John Hughes (1872--1914). The song is often referred to as a hymn but it isnt a hymn, it is a song associated with Welsh rugby union, being sung before almost every Test match involving the Welsh national team. In 2007 the song was one of the traditional Welsh songs to make it to the screen in an S4C series Codi Canu, as an attempt is made to bring traditional four-part harmony choral singing back to the Welsh rugby terraces. "Calon Lân" is unusual among the most popular Welsh traditional songs in that the English version of the words is virtually never sung (unlike, for example, "Cwm Rhondda"), but the tune does appear, for example, in the current (British) Methodist hymn book, "Hymns & Psalms" set to the lyrics of "I will Sing the Wondrous Story" by PP Bliss.

A Welsh Folk song by Wil Hopcyn b. 1700 describing a tragic love affair. Sung by the Rehoboth Welsh Choir in Delta Pennsylvania. The scenes are all around the town of Delta except the last one which is a sunset on Llandudno beach in North Wales. There are views of the Slate Quarries which are now flooded. The massive size of a great quarrying tradition is evident in some of the pictures. Many lost their lives when the Funkhauser Quarry flooded, and tragically some drown in the quarries yet today and they are strictly off limits as one of the most dangerous sites in the USA. The Cottages were built for the Quarrymen in the 19th century and still stand, in process of renovation. The red Church is the home of Cor Rehoboth.
