It´s New Year´s Day 2010 and as usual the Vienna Philharmonic are playing their Neujahrskonzert (New Year´s Concert) in my hometown (which is of course Vienna). Each and every year their programme consists of hardly anything else but stupid waltzes, so I thought it´s time for a personal contribution... But seriously: the idea for this waltz came up about ten years ago. Melody and chords were fully improvised and written down within a few minutes. As usual the arrangement took a little longer (although not ten years as you might think). Like the vast majority of waltzes this isn´t great by any means. It´sa foolish little melody but maybe still enjoyable. Have fun!
