In den 1990er Jahren hat der Leadsänger der surselvischen Rockgruppe «Passiunai», Pascal Gamboni, unter dem Titel «unics» (einzigartig) ein Lied verfasst, das aus einer jugendlichen, leicht ironischen Sicht zeigt, was es heisst, eine Romanin oder ein Romane zu sein. In the 1990s, Pascal Gamboni, lead singer of the romansh rock band «Passiunai» wrote a song called «unics» (unique), that shows from a juvenile and slightly ironic view, what it means to be a Romansh.

Teodora Purja, in varsta de 69 de ani, din Agries, cunoscuta pe meleagurile judetului datorita modului unic in care interpreteaza doine, a impresionat juriul atat prin cantec, cat si prin costumul popular pe care la purtat, vechi de mai bine de o suta de ani. Juriul a ramas impresionat de talentul celor doua, Mihai Petre spunand ca nu a mai auzit asa ceva in viata lui.
