During the fall of 2010 Lolita Ritmanis had the great honor of collaborating with revered Latvian author/poet Māra Zālīte in creating a new song. During the Latvian youth seminar ("2x2", ) organized by Aivars Osvalds and a team of Latvians from around the world, held in the hills above Malibu in late December, over 100 singers under the direction of Lolita and engineer Mark Mattson recorded the choral sections of this work. This cinematic music video was produced by Latvian filmmaker Mārtiņš Sudrabs, Eva Ikstena Strapcāne and LA based Aleks Dankers & Nik Bārs.

Traditional Latvian music is often set to traditional poetry called dainas. Dainas are very short, usually only one or two stanzas, unrhymed and in a four-footed trochaic metre. This video features a young girl singing a song of the Latvian music folklore in the square of Vecriga (Old Riga) famous for Riga's municipal bulding and the House of the Black Heads.
