Sage Vasishta
Sage Vasishta was one of the Saptharishis, the seven great sages. He was Brahmarishi and guru of Devas. Arundhati was his wife.
Yoga Vasishta, a great philosophical work, was narrated by the sage to Lord Rama when Rama was disinterested in life.
